To describe you the meal, we had 4 different bowls with different size for every kind of food. Before eating, they poured us water in the large bowl. We had to transfer this water in every bowl, from the largest to the smallest and let it in the last one to let the chopsticks and spoon soak in the water. The large is for the rice, the next one, the soup, then there is the one with the water and the smallest is for the side dishes.
When you have eaten all the food, we had to clean the rice bowl with a pice of radish. Than, they poured us some water in our bowl. Water that we transferred into the soup bowl to shake it et transferred it again in the small side dishes bowl. Finally, this water containing the leftover of all the bowls, we had to drink it. No waste!
